Step 1️⃣ : Install Codapt

1. Install a code editor: VS Code, Cursor, or Windsurf. While Codapt works with all of these editors, VS Code is the most beginner-friendly option.
2. Open the code editor you installed.
3. For VS Code or Windsurf users, open the Extensions Marketplace in the left side panel. You can also press Ctrl + Shift + X / OS: ⌘ + Shift + X in your keyboard.

1. Search for “Codapt” in the Marketplace and click install

Step 2️⃣ : Open Codapt

If you are using VS Code or Windsurf, click the gray Codapt icon in the left menu.

🎉 Congratulations! You've successfully opened the Codapt extension. Now you can sign up with your email and start your Codapt journey.

Creating a new project in Codapt unlocks its full capabilities, including running your project in the cloud for instant preview.

There are two ways to create a new Codapt project. While the interface varies slightly between them, we'll guide you through both methods!
